Jabalpur Region came into existence on 26th June 2019 as the third Region of M.P.Postal Circle, Bhopal vide Postal Directorate O.M.no.38-1/2017-PE-II dated 20/26th April 2018. It comprises of Jabalpur, Shahdol, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Rewa, Chhatarpur, Sagar Postal Divisions & RMS “JB” Dn. Jabalpur. Jabalpur Region serves 21 districts of eastern M.P with a robust postal network of 429 Departmental Post Offices and 3237 vibrant Branch Offices in rural, tribal and LWE areas. Approximately 2.90 crore population of the region, is serviced by 7012 employees. Consequent upon bifurcation of Balaghat Division, a new postal Division Mandla was formed w.e.f. 01st April 2019.

Considering the mass connectivity and services provided by our Postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks staff in the rural areas, Govt. of India launched a India Post Payment Banks(IPPB), which came into existence on 01st Sept. 2018, and the Region has 16 branches and 3662 access points.

Albeit, confronting challenges of new set up and coordinating with all Postal team members, I applaud all the staff for their utmost dedication in serving the public and I am proud to be a part and parcel of team lead by the spirited Chief Postmaster General, M.P.Circle Shri Alok Sharma Sir.
